The Utility Bar consists of four icons, and it is located on the upper right corner of the application. These icons provide administrative and user capabilities alongside additional help with the system.

Administration

The COG icon on the Utility Bar () hosts the administration controls. The Budgets, Users, Code Lists, Publish, and Create New interfaces can be accessed from the Administration list.

User Settings

The user icon on the Utility Bar () stores user and system information. When the icon is clicked, the version number, build number, build date, build time, username, user ID, data source, and catalog information can be obtained.

Quick Links

The bookmark icon on the Utility Bar () holds Quick Links which are attached to other STIP Resources. When the user clicks this icon, a list of all available Quick Links will appear. Selecting one of the names will open a new browser window with the correlating webpage or PDF. There are currently seven Quick Links available for this application: Revision Procedures, Fund Code Definitions, Glossary of Terms, TGIS Web Applications, Alaska's Transportation GIS, STIP Viewer, and Featured Maps (TGIS Home).

Help

The Help icon on the Utility Bar () links to this Help Guide. With its placement on the utility bar, a user can easily access the Help Guide while using the system.
