The Users interface is located on the Utility Bar under the System Administration COG icon ().
Function
The User Maintenance interface provides the ability to create and modify users of STIP Manager. System Administration permissions are required to view this interface.
Sections
The User Maintenance interface consists of 3 sections:
- User Table -- Provides a list of users currently defined in the application and their Last Name, First Name, Username, Region, and Email Address.
- Edit Fields -- Provides options to edit general information about the currently selected user.
- Button Controls -- Contains three button controls.
Controls
The Users interface offers some controls:

| Last Name Search Textbox | User Table | Jump to a given user by typing in their last name. |
| Checkboxes/Delete Selected Link | User Table | Remove the selected user by checking the checkbox for the desired rows/users and clicking the Delete Selected link. If the system is unable to remove the user due to references elsewhere in the system, the user will be marked as "Inactive" instead. |
| Last Name Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the last name of the selected user; required field. |
| First Name Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the first name of the selected user; required field. |
| Username Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the username of the selected user. This must match the user's login information; required field. |
| User Status Dropdown | Edit Fields | Edit the status of the selected user. Users marked as "inactive" will not be available from any user selection list and will be treated as a guest in the system. |
| Email Address Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the email address of the selected user. |
| Region Dropdown | Edit Fields | Edit the region in which the user is located; required field. |
| Phone Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the user’s contact phone number. |
| 4 Digit Pin Textbox | Edit Fields | Reset the user's PIN number; this field is only used for users with FHWA and/or FTA permissions. |
| Project Manager Checkbox | Edit Fields | Mark/unmark the user as a project manager. |
| MPO Management Link | Edit Fields | Open a pop-up menu to add/remove the MPO management permissions for the currently selected user. This is done by clicking the desired MPO, clicking the appropriate button control (add/remove), and clicking "Save." |
| MPO Permissions Table | Edit Fields | View the list of MPO permissions currently assigned to the selected user. |
| Region Management Link | Edit Fields | Open a pop-up menu to add/remove the Region management permissions for the currently selected user. This is done by clicking the desired Region, clicking the appropriate button control (add/remove), and clicking "Save." |
| Region Permissions Table | Edit Fields | View the list of region permissions currently assigned to the selected user. |
| Permissions Link | Edit Fields | Open a pop-up menu to add/remove the system permissions for the currently selected user. This is done by clicking the desired permission, clicking the appropriate button control (add/remove), and clicking "Save." |

| Add New Person Button | Button Controls | Add a new user to the application. This clears the Edit Fields, so the new user may be defined. |
