The Program Targets Report can be accessed on the Standard Reports "Select Report" list.
Function
The Program Targets Report is used to compare the proposed budget to the programmed obligations by Program.
Generate the Report
After selecting the Program Targets Report option, the user is required to select a STIP and Revision Number before running the report.
| Control | Used To... |
| STIP Dropdown | Select the STIP data set to be used for the report. |
| Revision Dropdown | Select a Revision Number that specifies the STIP selection; the Revision Number with a plus sign (+) will include pending changes. |
The user will be able to filter the report using this checkbox if desired; it will be checked by default.
| Field | Used To... |
| Include Group Headers Checkbox | Include the Project Purpose group headings in the report result. |
After selecting a STIP and Revision, and checking Include Group Headers if desired, the user can click an output type: "Open as PDF" or "Open in Excel."
Report Format
The report is formatted to show each year in the STIP individually with the programs grouped by project purpose. For example, for each year in the 2023-2032, the report will show all programs and group them by Safety, Economic Vitality, State of Good Repair, Sustainability, and Resiliency. However, if "Include Group Headers" is unchecked, there will be no project purpose groupings; instead, all program values will be combined and categorized under the program name. Below each report table (with and without the "Include Group Headers"), the user will be able to see three total lines: Total Program Uses, Total Funding Sources, and Difference. These total lines are explained in the table.
| Total Line | Description |
| Total Program Uses | The sum of Program totals for Proposed Budget, Programmed Amount, and Estimated Balance Remaining columns. |
| Total Funding Sources | The sum of Funding totals from the Fiscal Constraint tab for Proposed Budget, Programmed Amount, and Estimated Balance Remaining columns. |
| Difference | This is (Total Funding Sources – Total Program Uses) for Proposed Budget, Programmed Amount, and Estimated Balance columns. |
