The Fiscal Constraint Analysis report can be accessed on the Standard Reports "Select Report" list.
Function
The Fiscal Constraint Analysis report compares the estimated available funds to the programmed obligations for the first four constrained years of the STIP window.
Generate the Report
After selecting the Fiscal Constraint Analysis report option, the user is required to select a STIP and Revision Number before running the report.
| Control | Used To... |
| STIP Dropdown | Select the STIP data set to be used for the report. |
| Revision Dropdown | Select a Revision Number that specifies the STIP selection; the Revision Number with a plus sign (+) will include pending changes. |
Once a STIP and Revision Number are selected, the user can click an output type: "Open as PDF" or "Open in Excel."
Report Format
On the generated report, each section includes a Title Row above the table. Funding records are grouped by Funding Type with the Federal Fund table listed first. Directly below the Federal Funds section is a table that summarizes the use of Advanced Construction (AC) funds. The AC table includes a row for the Total Programmed amount in AC in each year and an additional row for each Federal Funding Category used to convert the AC funds (ACC).
The subtotals for each section show the Total Programmed amounts for the applicable funds. The Federal Funding and Transit Federal Funding sections have two additional summary lines to report the Total Available Fund amount and Difference amount (Funds Programmed – Funds Available).
