The Actions interface rests to the direct right of the "Projects" tab/title.

Function

The Actions interface is used to manage changes to the current approved version of the STIP.

Changes

The Rules Engine embedded in the system will automatically define changes to the STIP into certain categories. A STIP revision may be made for the following types of changes: Amendment, Administrative Modification, or Technical Correction. Each time the user saves changes to projects, the system will check the changes made against the rules that define an Amendment, Administrative Modification, or Technical Correction. If the system determines that these changes warrant a revision, they are marked accordingly in the database and are displayed in the Actions module.

Tabs

There are five tabs on the Actions interface. These tabs provide the ability to review, edit, and process pending changes through the Revision workflow.

1. Staging -- Displays projects with pending changes.
2. TIP -- Displays the list of project changes awaiting endorsement by the MPO that were previously submitted on the Staging tab.
3. Pre-Approved -- Displays the list of project changes that were previously submitted on the Staging or TIP tabs.
4. Revisions -- Displays all the changes that have been included in a STIP Revision.
5. History -- Displays the list of all project changes within an approved Revision.
