The Detail tab will only be available after a Need ID is clicked in the Projects tab of the Projects interface.
Function
The Detail tab allows the user to view and edit detailed information about the project. This interface contains general, location, document, and funding information for the project selected.
Sections
There are four sections in the Detail tab:
- General -- This section currently consists of thirteen fields: Project Title, Description, Work Type, Landscapes, Program, Total Program Estimate, DOT Region, Strategic Investment Area, Performance Measure, Identified By, Primary Contact, Secondary Contact, and Project Manager.
- Location Information -- This section stores the location records for the selected project.
- Documents -- This section allows the user to view and add documents to the project.
- Funding Information -- This section shows the funding associated with this project.
Controls
There are five important controls that lie outside the above sections on the Detail tab:

Filter the Fiscal Constraint Table. The picklist will contain all the Programs and Funding Categories that are currently available in the Funding table. |

Save comments associated to the Need ID. This link will open a pop-up composed of a table and a New Comment box. The table lists all existing comments associated with the Need ID; users can edit or delete comments that they created here. The New Comment box allows a user to enter a new comment into the table. |

Save changes made to the Detail tab. |
| Discard Changes Button ( |
Discard changes made to the Detail tab since the last save. |
| Print Link ( |
Open a print dialog so the user can specify the print details. |
