The Projects tab is displayed by default once the user enters the Projects interface.
Function
The Projects tab allows the user to see high-level information about the project including the Need ID, Project Title, DOT Region, and the funding for each year in the STIP window.
Setup
The Projects tab is composed of Quick Search fields, an Advanced Search link, a Project Table, a Delete Selected link, and a Print link. The Quick Search fields and Advanced Search link are located at the top of the Projects tab, with the Project Table residing directly below these controls. The two links rest on the base of the tab.
Project Table: Need ID
A Need ID will be displayed for each row in the first column of the Project Table. This number will be a link that navigates the user to the Detail tab. Once a Need ID is selected, the user can view extended information for that specific project in the Detail tab. The History tab will also become available with this selection.
Project Table: Totals
There are two sources of information on project totals on the Project Table: Total column and Total row. The Total column will display the sum of all funding records for the STIP project, including any amounts that are programmed outside of the current STIP window. The Total row will appear at the bottom of the table and will be distinguishable by its color (blue). It will include the sum of all values for each STIP Year and Total columns for the projects displayed.
